Marshes of Glynn Baptist Church is a united body of believers in JESUS CHRIST
MISSION: Love God, Love One Another, Seek the Lost, and Make Disciples.

Worship Team:  Our first purpose is to love the Lord with all our heart.  The Bible says, “Worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only” (Matt. 4:10).  This team is led by Alena Baker and focuses on leading the congregation in corporate worship, and leads our services in songs that help us to worship our Lord.

Ministry Team:  Our second purpose is to “love our neighbor as ourselves” (Gal. 5:14).  This team, led by our Chairman of Deacons, Daniel Atkins, strives to demonstrate God’s love to others by meeting their needs and healing their hurts in the name of Jesus.

Evangelism Team:  Our third purpose is to “go and make disciples” (Matt. 28:19).  We are ambassadors for Christ and our mission is to evangelize the world.  This team is led by Craig Miller.  It is every Christian’s responsibility to share the Good News wherever we go.

Fellowship Team:  Our fourth purpose is following the Great Commission by “Baptizing them”.  Led by Rena Corwin, this team reaches out to help people feel like they belong, not just believe.  “You are members of God’s very own family...and you belong in God’s household with every other Christian” (Eph. 2:19).

Discipleship Team:  Our fifth purpose is “teaching them to obey.”  Led by Sharon Joiner this team strives to edify, or educate, God’s people so that they may become more like Christ in their thoughts, feelings and actions.  “We continue to preach Christ to each person, using all wisdom to warn and to teach everyone, in order to bring each one into God’s presence as a mature person in Christ” (Col. 1:25).
